Privacy Policy

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Email address — when you sign up or log in via OTP. Used to authenticate you, to send one-time login codes, and to send you service and product emails about your own account (see “Emails we send” below).
• Profile details — if you choose to provide them: your name, phone number, WhatsApp number, and Telegram chat ID. Used to personalise results, share results to you, and send job alerts.
• Resume content — parsed when you upload it and used during your session for matching and AI tools. We do not retain your resume text after the session except when you send a referral request (see “Referral network” below), where a copy is saved to that request.
• Search criteria — job roles, location, and companies you search for. Stored only if you explicitly save a search.
• Referral data — if you use the referral network: for referrers, your company email address (to verify you) and profile (job title, company); for seekers, the role, note, and resume snapshot attached to a referral request.
• Device fingerprint — an anonymous browser identifier used to enforce free-tier usage limits (searches and AI tools) for non-logged-in users. It contains no personal information.

• To authenticate you via email OTP (one-time password).
• To match your resume against job listings and run AI tools (ATS check, JD match, cover letters, etc.) using Claude AI (Anthropic).
• To enforce fair usage limits (free tier: a one-time allowance of 3 searches and 7 AI-tool actions per account; anonymous: a one-time allowance of 3 searches and 7 AI-tool actions per device).
• To restore your saved searches and to send job alerts you have set up.
• To email you about your own use of the service — for example if you signed up but never ran a search, when your free allowance runs out, if you started a search and did not come back, or when a plan you paid for is about to end. You can opt out of these at any time (see “Emails we send”).
• To operate the referral network and connect you with the other party when a referral is accepted.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — your resume text and job descriptions are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that processing.
• Resend (email) — used to deliver every email we send you: OTP codes, job alerts, referral notifications, and the product emails described below.
• Telegram — only if you connect a Telegram chat ID to receive job alerts there.

There are three kinds, and you control the last two:

• Login codes (transactional). One-time passwords and payment confirmations. These are required to use your account and cannot be turned off while the account is open.
• Job alerts. Only if you create an alert yourself. Sent weekly on Friday evenings, and you can delete an alert at any time.
• Product emails. A welcome message when you sign up, and occasional messages about your own use of the service — for example a nudge if you signed up but never ran a search, when your free allowance is used up, or a one-time reminder if you ran a search and did not return. We send at most one of these in any seven-day period, and each type is sent to a given account only once. If you pay for a plan, we also remind you a few days before it ends and tell you when it has, since nothing renews automatically.

Every job alert and product email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all of them immediately. It does not stop your login codes, since you would otherwise be unable to sign in. We do not send email on behalf of anyone else, and your address is never shared with advertisers.

The referral network involves sharing personal data between users, with consent, so please note:

• Before a referrer accepts, a seeker's identity stays anonymous — the referrer sees only a match score, skills summary, and note.
• When a referrer accepts a request, both parties consent to share their contact details with each other — this includes name, email address, and LinkedIn (where provided), and the seeker's resume is revealed to that referrer.
• If a referrer declines, nothing about the seeker is shared.
• We share these details only with the specific other party in the referral — never publicly or with any employer.

• OTP codes expire after 10 minutes and are deleted/invalidated after use.
• Your account, profile, saved searches, and referral records are stored until you delete your account.
• Anonymous fingerprint records are kept for 90 days then automatically purged.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are never stored — we use passwordless OTP authentication. JWT tokens are signed with a server-side secret.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. We will process your request within 7 days.

We use a single session token (stored in localStorage or sessionStorage) to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
