Privacy Policy

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Email address — when you sign up or log in via OTP. Used for authentication and to send you a one-time code.
• Resume content — parsed temporarily during a search session. We do not store your resume text on our servers after the session ends.
• Search criteria — job roles, location, and companies you search for. Stored only if you explicitly save a search.
• Device fingerprint — an anonymous browser identifier used to enforce the free-tier search limit for non-logged-in users. It contains no personal information.

• To authenticate you via email OTP (one-time password).
• To match your resume against job listings using Claude AI (Anthropic).
• To enforce fair usage limits (free tier: 5 searches, registered: 20/month).
• To restore your saved searches when you log back in.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — your resume text and job descriptions are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that processing.
• SMTP email provider — used only to send OTP codes to your email address.

• OTP codes expire after 10 minutes and are deleted after use.
• Your account and saved searches are stored until you delete your account.
• Anonymous fingerprint records are kept for 90 days then automatically purged.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are never stored — we use passwordless OTP authentication. JWT tokens are signed with a server-side secret.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. We will process your request within 7 days.

We use a single session token (stored in localStorage or sessionStorage) to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
